Artist & Label Programme

1. What the Music Box Is

The Music Box is the music distribution and streaming infrastructure embedded directly into the ILoveTheMoney Platform. It is not a separate service — it is a fully integrated layer of the social network, making music a first-class feature alongside posts, communities, and direct messages.

Artists and record labels that enrol in the Artist & Label Programme receive a dedicated Artist Room — a branded profile page at ilovethemoney.com/music/{username} — where their catalogue is displayed, their biography and links appear, and members of the community can stream and purchase their releases.

Revenue from digital sales flows directly to the artist's withdrawal balance in Swiss Francs (CHF). There are no annual fees, no minimum catalogues, and no requirement to be signed to a label.

2. Who Can Join

The Artist & Label Programme is open to:

• Independent artists — solo musicians, bands, and producers distributing their own original music
• Record labels — established or independent labels wishing to distribute their roster's catalogue on the Platform
• Music publishers — entities holding publishing rights who wish to make controlled compositions available for streaming and purchase
• Collective rights management organisations — subject to prior written agreement with ILoveTheMoney

To participate, you must hold a Verified Account (✓) on the Platform. Verification confirms your identity or that of your legal entity before you can upload commercially distributed music to our community of users. Label accounts managing multiple artist profiles must also be verified at the account level.

3. Getting Started

Setting up your Artist Room takes four steps and is entirely self-service from your Back Office:

1. Create your ILoveTheMoney account and complete the Verified Account process (one-time fee, identity review). This establishes your legal identity on the Platform and is a prerequisite for all music distribution activity.
2. Open your Artist Room from the Music Box section of your Back Office. You will be prompted to provide your artist or label name, genre, country, a short biography, and optional links (Spotify, Instagram, website).
3. Upload your catalogue. Add albums and singles from the Manage Releases section. Each release requires a title, cover artwork, release year, and at least one audio track (MP3 format, up to 100 MB per file). Set a sale price in CHF for each track and album, or mark them as stream-only.
4. Publish and promote. Once submitted, your release is reviewed and published to your Artist Room. Share your Artist Room URL with your fans and across your social channels — users on the Platform can stream and purchase directly from the page.

4. What You Can Upload

Technical specifications

• Audio format: MP3 (required for streaming compatibility)
• Maximum file size per audio track: 100 MB
• Cover artwork: JPG or PNG, minimum 500 × 500 px, maximum 10 MB
• All text fields (titles, bios) must be in a standard character encoding (UTF-8)

5. How Streaming Works

All tracks in the Music Box are available for on-demand streaming directly in the browser — no app download required. The Platform includes a built-in media player that works across desktop and mobile.

Streaming access is available to all registered members of ILoveTheMoney, subject to the content being publicly released by the artist. Artists may choose to make individual tracks stream-only (no purchase option) or purchasable (users may buy a permanent download in addition to streaming).

Stream counts are recorded in real time and displayed in the analytics dashboard of your Back Office. At this time, streaming is provided as a promotional and engagement feature — revenue is generated through digital sales (see Section 6), not per-stream royalties. This model may be updated in a future programme revision.

Users may choose the optional Music Pass for full-catalogue streaming access. The recommended annual plan has a published base price of CHF 100 per year, saving CHF 20 compared with twelve monthly payments at the monthly base price of CHF 10. Any payment-processing charge is disclosed separately before payment. Existing monthly Music Pass subscribers remain on their monthly plan unless they choose to change it themselves. A Music Pass gives streaming access only; it does not provide a permanent download licence for individual paid releases.

6. Digital Sales

Artists set their own sale prices for individual tracks and full albums. Prices are denominated in Swiss Francs (CHF) and displayed to users at checkout. A minimum price floor of CHF 0.50 per track applies; there is no maximum price cap.

When a user purchases a track or album, the transaction is processed through the Platform's payment infrastructure. The published music price is the base sale amount and is split between the artist and the Platform according to the revenue share described in Section 7. Any separately displayed payment-processing charge is paid by the purchaser in addition to that base sale amount.

Purchasers receive a permanent licence to download and listen to the acquired recording for personal, non-commercial use. They do not acquire any copyright, master rights, publishing rights, or synchronisation rights. The right to sell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the recording remains exclusively with the rights holder.

7. Revenue Share & Payouts

Payout process

Your earnings accumulate in your Artist Back Office balance in CHF. Withdrawals can be requested at any time once your balance exceeds the minimum withdrawal threshold (displayed in your Back Office). Payouts are processed within 5–7 business days of admin approval via:

• Bank transfer (IBAN) — for holders of a bank account in the SEPA zone or Switzerland
• Western Union — for recipients in markets not covered by SEPA or where a bank account is unavailable

To receive a payout, your identity must be verified through our KYC (Know Your Customer) process in the Back Office. This requires a valid government-issued identity document, your payout method details (IBAN or Western Union recipient information), and — where applicable — a tax identification number. This is a one-time requirement per account.

No upfront costs

There is no fee to create an Artist Room, upload music, or list releases for sale. The Platform earns only when you earn — through the 20% share of the published music price on completed transactions. Purchasers may also pay a separately displayed payment-processing charge at checkout; that charge does not affect your 80% share. There are no listing fees, storage charges, or monthly subscriptions charged to artists or labels.

8. Label Accounts

Record labels and music publishers may manage multiple Artist Rooms under a single verified label account. Each artist in your roster has an independent Artist Room with its own catalogue, analytics, and payout balance. Revenue from each artist's sales is tracked separately for accounting and transparency purposes.

Labels are responsible for ensuring that all artists whose music is uploaded hold the appropriate rights, that any required performer consents are in place, and that the label has full authority to distribute the recordings and compositions on the Platform. The Platform does not arbitrate rights disputes between labels and their artists.

9. Your Rights & Your Obligations

What rights you must hold

By uploading music to the Platform, you represent and warrant that:

• You are the owner, exclusive licensee, or authorised distributor of the master recording (the sound recording copyright) for each uploaded track
• You hold, or have obtained all necessary licences for, the underlying musical composition (melody and lyrics) — whether through direct ownership, a publishing deal, a compulsory mechanical licence, or a voluntary synchronisation licence
• You have obtained written consent from all featured performers, session musicians, and any other rights holders whose contributions appear in the recording
• The upload, distribution, streaming, and sale of the recording does not infringe the intellectual property rights, rights of publicity, or any other rights of any third party
• The recording is not subject to an exclusive distribution agreement with a third party that would prohibit its distribution on this Platform

Licence granted to ILoveTheMoney

By uploading content to the Music Box, you grant ILoveTheMoney a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, transcode, stream, reproduce, and display the uploaded recordings and associated artwork solely for the purpose of operating the Platform and making the content available to users under the terms you have set. This licence does not transfer ownership and does not permit ILoveTheMoney to sub-license, sell, or commercially exploit the recordings in any manner other than as described herein. You retain all copyright and ownership in your music.

This licence continues for as long as the content remains on the Platform. It terminates automatically upon verified removal of the content by you, or upon termination of your account.

10. Content Standards & Prohibited Uploads

All uploaded content must comply with the Platform's Community Standards and applicable Swiss and international law. In addition, the following categories of content are strictly prohibited in the Music Box:

Violations will result in immediate removal of the offending content, withholding of outstanding earnings pending investigation, and — in serious cases — permanent termination of the Artist Room and associated account. The Platform cooperates with law enforcement and rights holders' enforcement programmes where required by law.

11. Analytics & Reporting

Every Artist Room includes a dedicated Analytics Dashboard accessible from your Back Office. It provides:

• Total and per-track stream counts (all-time and by date range)
• Sales volume and gross revenue per track and album
• Your net earnings (80% share) in CHF, broken down by release
• A complete transaction history with timestamps, titles, and individual sale amounts
• Withdrawal history with status (pending, processed, settled)
• Exportable CSV reports for your accountant or label administrator
• A printable official earnings statement (PDF-ready) suitable for submission to financial institutions or tax authorities

Data is updated in real time as plays and purchases are recorded. The Platform retains transaction data for a minimum of 10 years in accordance with Swiss commercial record-keeping obligations.

12. Platform's Editorial Rights

ILoveTheMoney reserves the right to:

• Review and approve or reject any submitted release before publication, at its sole discretion, without being required to provide a reason
• Suspend or remove any release that is found — at any time — to violate these terms, the Community Standards, or applicable law
• Feature selected releases in Platform-curated playlists, editorial sections, or promotional contexts at no additional cost to the artist and with no additional compensation owed — provided this does not alter the pricing or commercial terms of the release
• Adjust the technical presentation of uploaded content (file transcoding, image resizing, player UI) for Platform compatibility, without altering the creative content

The Platform does not guarantee any minimum stream counts, sales volume, editorial placement, algorithmic reach, or revenue outcome. Participation in the Artist & Label Programme does not constitute a recording contract, distribution agreement, or management arrangement with ILoveTheMoney.

13. Termination & Content Removal

By the artist or label

You may remove individual releases or your entire Artist Room at any time from your Back Office. Removal takes effect immediately for new streams and purchases. Outstanding earnings accrued prior to removal remain in your balance and may be withdrawn subject to the standard payout conditions. Removal of your Artist Room does not close your main ILoveTheMoney account.

By the Platform

ILoveTheMoney may suspend or permanently terminate your Artist Room — and withhold outstanding earnings pending investigation — if:

• You have uploaded content in violation of Section 9 (rights & licensing) or Section 10 (prohibited content)
• A credible third-party copyright or rights claim has been substantiated against your uploaded content
• Your main account is suspended or terminated for any reason
• We receive a valid court order or regulatory instruction requiring removal

Where termination results from your breach, outstanding earnings may be forfeited in proportion to the losses or costs suffered by the Platform or third parties as a result of the breach. This is without prejudice to any other remedies available to the Platform under applicable law.

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These terms and your participation in the Artist & Label Programme are governed by Swiss law, specifically the Swiss Code of Obligations, the Federal Act on Copyright and Related Rights (URG/LDA), and applicable EU regulations insofar as they have been adopted into Swiss law or are directly applicable to cross-border transactions.

The exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from or in connection with your Artist Room or the Music Box is the courts of the Canton of Bern, Switzerland. Artists and labels based outside Switzerland accept the jurisdiction of these courts for the purposes of this programme.

Artists and labels resident within the European Union retain the right to pursue consumer protection remedies under applicable EU law in their country of residence, where such rights cannot be contractually waived.
